Teresa was born in Ottawa, Canada, and graduated from Montreal’s Concordia University in 1977 in Fine Arts. Space, a sense of stillness, the constant dynamic change of nature and the elements, and particularly the minimalist view, are all home for her practice. Her art practice includes photography, works on paper with a passion for Japanese paper called Washi, and painting. She has exhibited nationally and internationally in group and solo exhibitions. An integrated passion that also influences her life work is exploring the science and practice of direct perception and experience of the phenomenal world.
