ANNE-MARIE KORNACHUK

Born in Pincourt, Quebec in 1969, Anne-Marie C. Kornachuk completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Concordia University in Montreal (1993). Former President of the Ontario Society of Artists, Anne-Marie has exhibited her work throughout Canada and USA. Her works, paintings about moments of quiet struggle, are beautifully executed. In the words of Anne-Marie: “I use figurative gestures as descriptions of ‘quiet struggles’. In my experience, life offers a continual series of pressures, of varying magnitude, that need to be managed in some way. It is the way these moments are managed that I find most fascinating.”
