About the Artist:

HANNA RUMINSKI

Hanna Ruminski was born in Poland and has resided in Canada since 1981. She holds a Master’s degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Ruminski’s work has been shown at the Toronto International Art Fair every year since 2003 and she became a member of the Ontario Society of Artists in 2008 with the Award of Merit presented in 2009. She expresses herself through layers of images, colours, textures, scribbles and her own spontaneous, gestural markings. Her latest paintings are inspired by her immediate environment, with it’s changing scenery, organic forms and nature. Her work is included in many collections including Hill + Knowlton and Steiber Berlach.
